New York based veteran independent film distributor FIRST RUN FEATURES has acquired all rights for Stefan Haupt´s SAGRADA – THE MYSTERY OF CREATION. The deal combines all North American rights. The film is set for a theatrical release in 2014. SAGRADA is further set for theatrical distribution in Spain and France in early 2014.
The deal was negotiated by Beatrix Wesle on behalf of Atrix Films/Fontana Film and Marc Mauceri for First Run Features.
Paris based Sophie Dulac Distribution has bought all rights for Stephan Haupt´s documentary „Sagraga – The Mystery of Creation“ for the French territory. The film is set for a theatrical release in early 2014. Sagrada has premiered successfully at Miami Internatioanl Film festival earlier this year and has been distributed in theatres thruout Europe. The deal was negotiated by Beatrix Wesle on behalf of Atrix Films and Eric Vicente for SD Distribution.

Stefan Haupt´s new highly anticipated documentary will host the world premiere on August 4, 2012 at the premiere Swiss film festival in Locarno. The film is in the official selection of Semain de la Critique. The theatrical release date has been set for November 22, 2012.
After the great theatrical successes in Germany, Austria, Switerland and France Straubinger´s docu „In The Beginning There Was Light“ will be released this month in Spain by local distributor Absolut Media.
Beatrix Wesle’s Atrix Films has closed deals for P.A.Straubinger´s InThe Beginning There Was Light to Japan (Medallion Media), Spain (Absolut Media Films), France (Jupiter) and Globo TV (Brazil).
Light, already a box-office hit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, is an investigation into the phenomenon of “inedia” – people who claim that they can nourish themselves with light.
The film is produced by Austrian producer Helmut Grasser, CEO of Allegro Film, who produced also We Feed The World and Let’s Make Money.
Atrix has traditionally championed theatrical documentaries, among them such titles as The Story Of The Weeping Camel, Hitler’s Secretary and How To Cook Your Life.
